A special fundraising event, Rising from the Ashes, was held on Thursday, May 22, at 6 pm at Muhlenberg College’s Moyer Hall.

The evening featured:

Great food, drink, and live music
Important updates on The Literacy Center
Recognition of the firefighters and first responders who battled the blaze
Presentation of the Phoenix Award, Community Partner of the Year, and Champion of Literacy
