Free Pathways to Manufacturing Program Winter 2023 Info Session

he Lehigh Valley ranks among the top 50 manufacturing markets nationally and companies are eager to hire new talent to fill high tech entry-level
roles at very competitive starting salaries. In fact, Lehigh Valley production
technicians’ starting salaries are more than 20% higher than production
technicians nationally.
Pathways to Manufacturing is a free grant funded program that gives participants an opportunity to learn more about modern manufacturing while
obtaining the skills and credentials to be successful in the career path of
their choosing. Program also provides an opportunity to interview with
companies who are eager to hire. In eight weeks, participants will obtain:
• In-demand skills: Hands-on training in measurement tools, shop math,
hand and power tools, basics of safety, automation, robotics and
more.
• Career pathway exploration: Discover the diverse entry level career
opportunities available in modern manufacturing.
• Company connections: Plant tours, employer days and job interviews.
