DESCRIPTION:he Lehigh Valley ranks among the top 50 manufacturing markets nationally and companies are eager to hire new talent to fill high tech entry-level\nroles at very competitive starting salaries. In fact\, Lehigh Valley production\ntechnicians’ starting salaries are more than 20% higher than production\ntechnicians nationally.\nPathways to Manufacturing is a free grant funded program that gives participants an opportunity to learn more about modern manufacturing while\nobtaining the skills and credentials to be successful in the career path of\ntheir choosing. Program also provides an opportunity to interview with\ncompanies who are eager to hire. In eight weeks\, participants will obtain:\n• In-demand skills: Hands-on training in measurement tools\, shop math\,\nhand and power tools\, basics of safety\, automation\, robotics and\nmore.\n• Career pathway exploration: Discover the diverse entry level career\nopportunities available in modern manufacturing.\n• Company connections: Plant tours\, employer days and job interviews.\nProgram Details:\nStarting in February 2023 (TBD)\, Mon. – Thurs.\, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm\nFowler Family Southside Center\, 511 E.
